'The proposal was something I would of never expected from James, It completely threw me off guard. He booked a weekend away to the Lake District, we stayed on Lake Windermere at the beautiful hotel Storrs Hall.

I’m not very good with fancy food so when it was time for any meal we were in buckets of laughter the whole way through.

The second night before dinner James suggested we should go for a walk by the lake and watch the sunset. As we were walking we saw this beautiful pavilion covered in twinkling lights and James started walking me over to it. As we got closer I started to hear music and see roses on the table and rose petals all over the floor. Before I knew what was going on I was standing on this beautiful pavilion at sunset and James was down on one knee.

Of course I said yes!

He had hired a photographer to captured the entire moment and I just couldn’t believe how much thought and planning had gone into this. I was in so much shock it took an hour after saying yes to actually look at the ring.

We popped open the champagne and had a beautiful photoshoot along side the lake. It was one of the most incredible moments of my life and I went to bed that night very tipsy with a beautiful ring on my finger and the most amazing fiancé next to me.'
