‘Rich had apparently been planning the engagement for weeks and managed to keep it under wraps. The only people who knew were his Mum and George at Hamlington’s, where he was designing the custom made engagement ring. ⁠

We flew out to South Africa for an amazing Safari holiday and on the second night there the lodge arranged for us to have a candle-lit dinner at a viewpoint overlooking the reserve. I think nerves got the better of Rich because before we’d even ordered our food he had got down on one knee! It was the most amazing setting and I was speechless. ⁠

I’ve not stopped looking at my ring and it gets so many compliments - we’re forever grateful to the Hamlington’s team and already can’t wait to come back and choose our wedding rings’. 🤍💍⁠
